Direct the patient to visit springsleep.com and click on the top/top right corner where it says "I have a prescription" to upload their RX form and complete the purchase.

Visit Parachute Health, create a free account here (if you don't already have one) and search for the supplier "Spectrum eXciteOSA". Follow the instructions for submitting Rx.

Important Patient Information
$1650 per eXciteOSA Starter-Pack and $150 for a replacement mouthpiece (every 90 days, as recommended by the FDA)
If you provide your patient with a copy of the prescription, you can direct them to visit springsleep.com, click on the top right corner where it says "I Have a Prescription", upload their RX form, and complete the purchase.
Spring Sleep accepts HSA/FSA payments and offers purchase financing for as little as $103 per month.

Requirements for Medicare
Spring Sleep is now able to submit claims to Medicare for beneficiaries.
Sleep Study showing Mild OSA diagnosis (AHI ≥ 5, but < 15)
Patient's demographic information including primary and secondary insurance details
A copy of evaluation notes completed within the past 12 months where a sleep study is recommended

Epic SmartPhrase Implementation Instructions
Follow these steps to add and use the eXciteOSA SmartPhrase inside your Epic system:
1.
Open Epic → Go to: Tools > SmartTools Editor.
2.
Select "My Phrases" or your department's shared library.
3.
Click "New Phrase."
4.
Paste the full eXciteOSA SmartPhrase text provided.
5.
Name it clearly (e.g., .eXciteOSA).
6.
Save and share with your team (or request IT to publish it system-wide as needed).
To use the SmartPhrase during patient care:
1.
Open a patient chart.
2.
Begin a note or order workflow.
3.
Type your SmartPhrase shortcut (e.g., .eXciteOSA).
4.
The complete template will auto-populate.
5.
Fill in the required fields and sign the note or referral.
